I've said this before...

Hi guys

Now I now this sounds familiar, but I really am going to try and update the site more often. Adding stuff like Computer hardware and software reviews, maybe a movie I recently watched, music and bands I enjoy even some great YouTube videos I might find. I want this blog to be somewhere you go when you are bored and need some entertainment, with the power of the internet you need never be bored again.

Well done SA. You made us proud!

Well Soccer fans it has come and gone, it's hard to believe that the 2010 FIFA World Cup is over...

I am here before you and I can say that I am proudly South African, I'm extremely impressed with the way South Africa handled this event. I know of so many people that were skeptical about the potential of SA to pull off an event of this magnitude, but I am glad they were proven wrong.

Well done to Spain for taking home the cup, although I was rooting for Netherlands to take it! I did hear people complaining about the quality of the match, but I found it a very enjoyable match, I believe people were expecting too much from this match, both teams are after all human.

Now all eyes are on Brazil for 2014 and I can't wait to see what they deliver and I wish them all the luck in the world, I'm also hoping for a 5 star performance from Bafana Bafana! Making me even more proud than they did this year!

Actually before we get to Brazil for the soccer, I don't know how many of you are Rugby fans like I am but I can't wait for the 2011 RWC in New Zealand I think that the Springbokke can make history and take the cup a 3rd time! Anyway that is what's been on my mind, feel free to post your feelings and speak your mind in the comments section

Netherlands Vs Spain...

The World is watching, everything has culminated into this, the single match to decide the World Champions of Soccer. As an South African I have to say I am very impressed with the way we handled the world cup, in the start I had a very apathetic attitude towards the whole concept and I have to say that my opinion changed when I saw the people in the streets celebrating this great event.

That being said that after my home team Bafana Bafana did not make it all the way I decided to put my faith in Netherlands and they have not disappointed at all and I am sure they will be taking the cup home, despite what Paul is saying about it. What I've Been Up To

It's been a while since I posted, but I will make a point of it to visit more often and keep my blog updated.

For Christmas 2007 my parents bought me a guitar. Not the best in the world but it certaintly does the job. I've been getting along with that and looks like one day I might actually be able to play a song or two :). Since like I said in my earlier post the music I listen to is a big part of my life so I will keep regular updates on which songs find their way onto my playlist. Some bands that have quite the presence on my playlist include : Avenged Sevenfold, Dashboard Confessional, Secondhand Serenade, Aking, Escape The Fate, Fokofpolisiekar. Bands that have made their way include: Death cab for cutie, The Postal Service (I really like Ben Gibbard's Vocals) A Change Of Pace, Seether (Gave them a fair listening chance and am liking it), +44, Brand new, Glaskas, Copeland, Ef-el. I also recently discovered The Script and so far I am liking them. I will keep updates of all the bands I like.
